BRTCA names Michael the 2024 Outstanding Sire
Michael Anthony is truly a Black Russian Terrier. He fiercely loves his family and would protect us with his life. He is affectionate, comical, and happy. Michaele dislikes and distrusts strangers. Once properly introduced, Michael will decide if they are trustworthy. Those he loves will be showered with his affection. He may even sit on your lap. Michael has earned a Register of Merit from the Parent Club and was named the BRTCA's 2024 Outstanding Sire. We are very proud of this boy.
Michael finished his AKC Championship, handled by Christine Robinson (breeder/owner) at just 10 1/2 months old from the Bred-by Exhibitor class. Michael completed his CGC at 3 years old. At home, he enjoys tracking, swimming, retrieving, and picking organic fruit in the backyard. His favorite place to "nap" is on the grooming table. He is a large boy, thick coat with great pigment, heavy bone, strong character, scissors bite, dense undercoat, dark eyes, deep chest, and broad backskull. At 9 years young, Michael still looks and acts like a young boy.
Michael is the son of GCHB Ya Black Beard Iz Chigasovo, TT x CH BarentsNight Fleur de Lis, TT. DOB: 08-10-2016. Michael is named after my beloved brother who passed away unexpectedly just 10 days before this litter was born. Michael is sensitive and thoughtful, he gave me comfort at a time when it seemed like the sun would never rise again.

In 6 shows, he earned 2 majors and a total of 9 points. He even placed Best of Breed over a Grand Champion! Barrett finished his CH quickly at 14 months old. In April 2024, he completed his CGC and TT titles.
